Santa Clara Defeats Florida State on PK's to win 2020 College Cup. Santa Clara is the 2020 College Cup Champions after defeating Florida State 4-1 on penalty kicks for the national title. Team Co-Captain Julie Doyle gave the Broncos a 1-0 edge in the shootout, the first opening-round penalty attempt conceded by FSU during the tournament. Santa Clara, playing in its third national title game and first since 2002, converted all four of its penalty kicks. Julie Doyle named to the 2020 NCAA College Cup All-Tournament Team.
