Julie Doyle entered the game at the 60th minute. At the 62nd minute, Doyle receives an end-line pass from Celia Jiménez Delgado, Doyle whips a one-touch cross to the head of Erika Tymrak near the six. When the attempt by Tymark was blocked, the ball ended up at the feet of Savannah McCaskill at the top of the eighteen. Pressured by Viviana Villacorta, McCaskill was forced to face the goal and play it back to Angel City defender, Nielsen. As McCaskill released the pass, Doyle came out of nowhere to steal the ball and drilled a rocket shot to the upper right side of the goal. Doyle only had three touches on the play; the cross, the steal, and the shot. The goal was recorded at the 63rd minute. " Pride Fans voted Julie Doyle "Player Of The Match."

The second half was an incredible start as the Orlando Pride quickly doubled their lead. It began at the second-half kickoff when Kerry Abello caused a turnover at the centerline. Julie Doyle received the ball off the blocked pass; Doyle turned and dribbled a distance up the field, sending a through ball to Abello just inside the eighteen. KC keeper, Adrianna "AD" Franch, came off her line to challenge the play when Abello collided with Franch and Elizabeth Ball. Franch couldn't gain possession. Meggie Dougherty Howard picked up the loose ball and found Doyle streaking through the middle, winning a cross between two defenders to make it a two-goal lead. It was Doyle's first professional goal.

In the seventh minute of stoppage-time, Vivianna Villacorta played a through ball to Jordyn Listro. When Washington blocked the cross from Listro, the ball found Julie Doyle just inside the top of the eighteen. The Orlando forward controls the ball and dribbles across the top of the box. With the Spirit defenders focused on Doyle threatening a shot, Doyle crosses the ball far-post, where it finds Darian Jenkins unmarked and wide-open. Jenkins takes a quick touch and finishes a clean shot past the Washington goalkeeper to save a point for Orlando! As Doyle sprints toward Jenkins for the goal celebration, the referee ends the game with the final whistle for the 2-2 draw!

Orlando Pride advances a starting lineup with several young players, including forward Julie Doyle, who recorded her first NWSL start. Doyle was essential in setting up Cluff's game-winner, using her speed down the right side to keep the ball in play. The Santa Clara alumnus beats her defender and slides for the end line cross, sending the ball into the box at the top of the six, where Sydney Leroux gets a touch on the ball that deflects to Michaela Cluff at the penalty mark. Cluff slots a perfect shot between the diving keeper and the far post for the game-winner!

After a long recovery from a level 3 ankle sprain, forward Julie Doyle makes her professional debut on Saturday night at Exploria Stadium. Julie enters the match in the 70th minute against the North Carolina Courage in the Challenge Cup.
