In the 21st minute of Orlando’s NWSL Quarterfinal matchup against Seattle at Inter&Co Stadium, the Pride opened the scoring through a quick passing sequence on the right side involving Corey Dyke, Marta, and Julie Doyle.
After receiving Dyke’s pass, Doyle combined with Marta in a sharp one-two before continuing her movement into space. Marta delivered a perfectly weighted return ball into Doyle’s path, and Doyle responded with a composed one-touch service into the stride of Haley McCutcheon. McCutcheon redirected the shot through a defender’s legs and into the far post to give Orlando a 1–0 lead.
The sequence highlighted the timing, movement, and quick combination play between Marta and Doyle that helped unlock Seattle’s defensive line. McCutcheon’s finish ultimately stood as the match-winning goal as Orlando advanced to the NWSL Semifinals with a 2–0 victory following a late penalty from Luana.

PANAMA CITY, PAN. SEP 16, 2025
Julie Doyle opened the scoring in Orlando’s Concacaf W Champions Cup match against Chorrillo FC with a header in the 4th minute. The sequence began when Prisca Chilufya delivered a cross toward the back post. Doyle timed her run into the area perfectly, met the ball in the air, and directed a header past Chorrillo goalkeeper Sara Lozano to give the Pride an early 1–0 lead.
Orlando went on to secure a 5–0 victory in Panama City. The finish marked Doyle’s second goal of the tournament in as many matches.
CHICAGO IL. SEP 7, 2025
Orlando’s second goal came in the 72nd minute. Julie Doyle received a pass from Emily Sams on the right flank and drove towards the top corner of the 18, pulling defenders inside.
Spotting Haley McCutcheon’s run, Doyle made a small shift outside on the dribble before whipping a dangerous, well-timed low cross into the six-yard box. McCutcheon beat her marker to the ball and redirected the finish first-time into the far post, cutting Chicago’s lead to 4–2.
Despite the quality finish, the Pride ultimately fell to Chicago 5–2 on the road.

PANAMA CITY, PAN. SEP 16, 2025
Julie Doyle opened the scoring in the 49th minute, helping lift the Orlando Pride to a 3–0 victory over L.D. Alajuelense in the club’s inaugural match of the 2025–26 Concacaf W Champions Cup.
After a scoreless first half, Carson Pickett delivered a driven low service into the box that deflected off an Alajuelense defender. Reacting quickly, Doyle stretched to meet the ball with a right-footed, one-touch finish that slipped between a defender and past goalkeeper Noelia Bermúdez to score the first-ever goal for the Pride in Concacaf W Champions Cup competition.
The tournament features top women’s clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Doyle was later named Michelob Ultra Superior Player of the Match.

ORLANDO FL. JUN 7, 2025
Midfielder Julie Doyle returned to the pitch for the Orlando Pride, making her first appearance since the season opener after missing nine matches due to injury. Doyle started the match and logged her first competitive minutes since March 14.
Following the match, Coach Seb Hines reflected on Doyle’s performance, saying, “It was a challenge for Julie, but she rose to the occasion, and we got a good 45 minutes from her.”
Cori Dyke scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner in the 99th minute to secure Orlando’s 1–0 victory over the Houston Dash, moving the Pride into second place in the NWSL standings.
ORLANDO FL. MAR 14, 2025
n the 65th minute, Julie Doyle scored Orlando’s fourth goal of the night during the Pride’s 2025 season opener against Chicago Stars FC at Inter&Co Stadium.
The sequence began when Emily Sams collected a clearance and played the ball forward to Barbra Banda on the right side. Banda chipped the ball over her defender and accelerated into the box before delivering a cross toward Doyle, who was arriving on the opposite side of the attack. Doyle met the service with a composed one-touch finish to the near post, beating goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher for her first goal of the 2025 season.
Just nine minutes later, Doyle was forced to leave the match due to a knee injury. Orlando went on to secure a dominant 6–0 victory over Chicago behind goals from Haley McCutcheon, Ally Watt, Doyle, and Banda, who scored twice.

KANSAS CITY MO. NOV 23, 2024
The Orlando Pride capped off a historic 2024 campaign by winning both the NWSL Shield and the NWSL Championship, marking the first major professional sports title for the city of Orlando.
Julie Doyle appeared in 25 of Orlando’s 26 regular-season matches, starting 21 games. She also featured in all three playoff matches and all three NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup games during the club’s championship season.
The achievement marked the first time since 2019 that an NWSL club completed the league double by winning both the Shield and Championship in the same season. Orlando also set league records for points (60), wins (18), and clean sheets (13), while remaining unbeaten at home with a 10-0-3 regular-season record.
ORLANDO FL. OCT 6, 2024
The Orlando Pride clinched the first NWSL Shield in club history with a 2–0 victory over the Washington Spirit at Inter&Co Stadium. Awarded to the team with the league’s best regular-season record, the Shield marked another milestone in Orlando’s historic 2024 campaign.
With a 17-0-6 record at the time of the title-clinching victory, the unbeaten Pride secured the No. 1 seed in the NWSL Playoffs and home-field advantage throughout the postseason. Orlando remained the league’s only undefeated team with three matches left in the regular season.

ORLANDO FL. OCT 1, 2024
The Orlando Pride signed Julie Doyle to a new three-year contract extension through the 2026 season. Doyle was originally selected by Orlando with the No. 11 overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NWSL Draft.
“I couldn’t be happier to be staying in Orlando. This team is so special, and I feel blessed to be part of what we are building here,” Doyle said. “I’m extremely motivated to continue contributing to the team’s success and bring a championship to our amazing fans. Go Pride!”
ORLANDO FL. JUL 27, 2024
In Summer Cup action at Inter&Co Stadium, Julie Doyle scored a late equalizer in the 82nd minute to help Orlando secure a 2–2 draw against C.F. Monterrey Femenil. The sequence began when Summer Yates connected with Celia on an outside run deep in the attacking third. Celia beat her defender 1v1 and delivered a low service across the face of goal to Doyle, who redirected the ball first-time into the far-post side netting for the equalizer.
Following the match, Doyle reflected on the sequence: “I just had to hold my run a little bit and not close my own space, and I knew Celia was going to put it right where I wanted it, and that’s exactly what she did. She beat her player, put it on the carpet and all I had to do was guide it into the goal.”
The Pride later earned two points in the Summer Cup standings by winning the end-of-regulation shootout 5–4. Sofia Manner recorded a save for Orlando, while all five Pride players converted their penalties, including Doyle, who buried Orlando’s opening attempt.

Julie Doyle reached a career milestone by making her 50th appearance in the National Women’s Soccer League. All 50 appearances have come with the Orlando Pride since being selected in the first round of the 2022 NWSL Draft.
SAN DIEGO CA. JUN 7, 2024
Orlando’s counterattack began following a San Diego corner kick when Ally Watt won possession and quickly connected with Brianna Martinez in transition. Martinez found Barbra Banda running into space, and Banda drove upfield against San Diego center-back Naomi Girma.
As Banda entered the right side of the box, she delivered a cross through multiple San Diego defenders toward Julie Doyle arriving on the opposite side of the attack. Doyle reached back and redirected a one-time volley into the net for Orlando’s opening goal in the 36th minute.
San Diego equalized in the 62nd minute after a back-post cross deflected off a Pride defender and into the goal. The 1–1 result allowed Orlando to remain undefeated on the season.
ORLANDO FL. MAY 24, 2024
The Orlando Pride set a new National Women’s Soccer League record with eight consecutive victories following a 2–1 win over the Portland Thorns at Inter&Co Stadium. Orlando remained unbeaten through 11 matches, continuing the strongest start in club history while holding the top spot in the NWSL standings.
Barbra Banda scored both goals in the victory as the Pride continued their historic 2024 campaign. Following the final whistle, Orlando celebrated the milestone with its home crowd at Inter&Co Stadium.
ORLANDO FL. MAY 1, 2024
During first-half stoppage time, Ally Watt played a through ball into space for Barbra Banda, who drove upfield before cutting inside and splitting two North Carolina defenders. Banda fired a low right-footed shot that forced a save from Courage goalkeeper Casey Murphy.
The rebound deflected into the path of Julie Doyle, who had made a long supporting run from midfield. Doyle arrived at the right moment and buried the finish past a diving Murphy in the 45+2 minute to give Orlando a 3–0 lead heading into halftime.
Banda scored twice in the match, while Ally Watt and Doyle each added goals as the Pride secured a dominant 4–1 victory over the North Carolina Courage.
WASHINGTON D.C. APR 26, 2024
In the 51st minute, Barbra Banda scored her first NWSL goal during Orlando’s 3–2 victory over the Washington Spirit. The sequence developed off a short corner kick from Summer Yates, who found Julie Doyle checking toward the near post. Doyle redirected the ball with a quick flick that found Banda inside the box. Banda met the service with a header past Washington goalkeeper Aubrey Kingsbury for the finish.
It was Doyle's first assist of the 2024 season. Angelina and Summer Yates also scored for the Pride, resulting in Orlando's 3-2 road victory over Washington Spirit.
ORLANDO FL. OCT 15, 2023
On NWSL Decision Day, Orlando was in the hunt for a playoff spot. With a 0-0 scoreline, Julie Doyle entered the match in the 70th minute and immediately brought a spark to Orlando’s late attacking buildup. In the 77th minute, Orlando created its best chance of the match to that point. Marta attempted to connect with Doyle by lifting a ball into the box, but Doyle’s diving effort came up just short.
Seven minutes later, Doyle helped create the decisive sequence of the match. After receiving a sideline pass from Strom near midfield, Doyle drove upfield and recognized Marta making a run. Doyle responded by delivering a long bending service with the outside of her foot into the penalty area that found Marta in stride near the end line. As Marta slowed her run to control the ball, Houston defender Katie Lind fouled her from behind, drawing a late penalty opportunity for Orlando. In the 86th minute, Marta converted the penalty to give Orlando a 1–0 lead.
Eight minutes were added for stoppage time, leaving Orlando little time to find the goals needed to secure a playoff spot. With six minutes remaining, Marta again connected with Doyle on the left side. Doyle settled the ball, beat her defender off the dribble, and delivered a cross back into the box that created another dangerous scoring opportunity for Orlando as Yates shot just over the crossbar.
Minutes later, Marta again found Doyle on a through ball into the Houston box. Doyle drove at her defender 1v1 before cutting right and forcing a difficult save from Houston goalkeeper Jane Campbell. The ball deflected off Campbell’s hands and dropped in front of Adriana, who made an attempt that was also saved by Campbell.
As Orlando pushed for another late goal, the final whistle ultimately sounded and the club’s playoff hopes were dashed. Marta’s penalty stood as the match-winning goal in the Pride’s 1–0 victory over the Houston Dash, but Orlando narrowly missed the 2023 NWSL Playoffs on goal differential.
