Julie Doyle signs her National Letter of Intent with NCAA D1Santa Clara University and will join the Broncos under Head Coach Jerry Smith and his coaching staff: Greg Murphy, Curtis McAlister, and Brandi Chastain. San Diego Surf forward Julie Doyle committed to SCU with a clear emphasis on her choice. “Soccer was the most important part of my college decision,” she told TopDrawerSoccer. “I intend to play soccer beyond college and I was looking for a coach that would not only challenge me, but also had the vision and the ability to take my game to the next level." Over the past few years, the wide attacker has become a fixture in U.S. youth national team camps. Recently called into a pair of U20 national team camps, a number of the nation’s top schools were interested in signing her.
